The PSA sponsors twelve annual awards contests, with the aim of encouraging and rewarding excellence in poetry by both new and established poets. The winners are honored at our Annual Awards Ceremony, held in New York City in the spring of each year.
The contests are judged by poets representative of diverse styles and backgrounds. The judges for the 2008 PSA Awards are: Norma Cole, Timothy Donnelly, Annie Finch, Lyn Hejinian, Elizabeth Macklin, Thylias Moss, Donald Revell, David Roderick, Prageeta Sharma, Ron Silliman, C. D. Wright, and Dean Young.
